How to write a letter
1)Write the main information at the beginning of the letter, before the body. The arrangement of this information may change, but if it's totally provided, it should be fine.
- Subject line.
- Recipent's name, with the correct title.
- Your adress.
- The date.
2)Write a greeting, such as "Dear", "Hello", or "Hey", followed by the recipent's name and a comma or a colon.
3)Write an opening paragraph. Begin with a "What's up?", "How's it going" or "How are you?". In a bussiness letter, summarize your intentions and write clearly so that the reader will understand you.
4)Write the body of the letter. Expand the information you gave at the first paragraph. Keep paragraphs engaging so it's easy to read.
5)Write the the closing paragraph to let the reader now the response you are seeking, with phrases like "Please write when you have a chance" or "Call me soon".
6)Write an appropriate closing, depending on the level of formality of the letter. "Love always", "Sincerely", "Regards," or
"Respectfully,", for example, and sign your name underneath.
